Day To Day

Tunbridge Wells Care Centre has a dedicated Activities Co-ordinator, and provides a wide range of daily therapeutic and leisure activities, such as games in the garden, karaoke afternoons and cooking. All residents who have a special interest or hobby are encouraged and, if practicable, facilitated to enable them to continue.

We regularly provide special entertainment from external sources such as ‘The Summer Holiday Show’ which takes residents on a magical journey through songs from around Europe from the comfort of the lounge.We also organise outings to local sites and attractions and encourage individual activities such as painting and knitting. Each month a social calendar is displayed showing a programme of activities available.

Our Activities Co-ordinator spends time with residents on an individual basis reading newspapers to them and helping with their post. In addition, rooms also have flat screen TV's/DVD players with a choice of over 30 channels and radio stations for residents' comfort and convenience. Residents can choose a movie from movie library of classic films and musicals.
