Activity produces wonderful results

Making attractive additions to the garden at Tunbridge Wells Care Centre, ‘bug hotels’ have been popping up in the garden. The ‘hotels’ are made by some of the residents under the supervision of the activity team and provide not only a safe haven for insects but also a meaningful activity for those residents who wish to be involved.
In many activities, the ‘journey’ is more important than the ‘destination’ – in other words the benefits gained from actually doing the activity far outweigh that of having an actual finished product.
However on this occasion the ‘hotels’ are a fabulous result to projects which have involved and engaged residents whatever their level of capability and cognition.
